Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. As a child, she was inspired by classical music, boleros and the traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana loves Tangos, opera, and all forms of dramatic performance. She started singing and studying music with her mother, she began her more intensive training in singing when she was 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. When she was a student, as well as a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choruses. Following her move in America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current home in the southern part of California. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. The love she has for performing, music, as well as the arts keeps her engaged in local projects for both an artist as well as a educator. Ana has been a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to sing the same.
